Grease traps and waste collection
Grease traps are an essential part of the kitchen, particularly in commercial kitchens. Grease traps require specialist, regular cleaning for the following reasons:
Hygiene - grease traps quickly fill up with oil, fat and grease which will begin to rot if left too long. This can result in a strong odour filling your kitchen and travelling into surrounding rooms. You don’t want your guests to smell bad odours coming from the kitchen!
Fire risk - much of the oil, grease and fatty liquids that build up in grease traps are flammable. Catering Equipment Gas Safety Inspections
Gas appliances in commercial kitchens are legally required to be checked by a Gas Safe qualified engineer at least once a year. Common issues like faults and leaks can quickly spiral out of control if they’re not promptly dealt with. Without the correct maintenance, poor ventilation and appliances leaking gas could lead to a serious fire hazard.

Once we have reviewed all gas installations and appliances in your kitchen, we will issue you with a CP42 that is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
