INTRODUCTION

Tempus has been managing the estates of a nationwide probation company, which includes the Republic of Ireland. Our client has sites based across the United Kingdom and values flexible support packages for new and existing buildings.

With the requirement to keep buildings compliant with current legislation, and to create an operational and safe working environment for staff and service users, Tempus provides a service that focuses on a first-time fix, ensuring minimal downtime of equipment across this client's high footfall and expanding estate.

The planned preventative maintenance is bespoke across each site, based on the assets on site, pre-existing arrangements, local requirements and budgets. With nationwide coverage, business-critical servicing such as gas safety inspections, portable appliance testing, air conditioning and asbestos inspections are completed in accordance with each site’s individual requirements, ensuring compliance across their estate.

With a selection of dedicated account managers, Tempus ensures any interaction with each property is met with extensive site knowledge and an awareness of ongoing works.

Tempus fully manages various planned maintenance and reactive attendances, taking responsibility for scheduled attendances, ensuring compliance and keeping site’s operational. This gives our client the peace of mind to focus on the cornerstones of their business.

We have now been working with Tempus for 4 years. Tempus are responsible for our nationwide estate, which includes the Republic of Ireland. In addition to the Helpdesk support, we value the flexible service model whereby sites can be removed and added with ease. The Helpdesk is responsive and operates effectively, managing works from start to finish whilst working hand in hand with our Team. I would strongly recommend Tempus to fellow Facilities Managers.

GOING THE EXTRA MILE

  • Tempus provides a bespoke service to this client based on their changing requirements. We have adapted to the changing needs of this client and now Tempus provides an overflow telephone support service at no additional cost.
  • To give staff with peace of mind, Tempus is the first point of contact for any intruder alarm issue outside of normal working hours. With keyholding services in place at sites nationwide, we can respond to issues immediately to ensure sites are safe and secure (24/7/365).
  • We assess and adapt our service to the ever-changing requirements of each building. At one of the properties in Kent, we undertook a TUPE of the existing security guard to ensure his continued and valued service to the client.
  • This client's estate constantly changes due to the nature of their contracts. As a result, Tempus is required to show flexibility in implementing reactive and planned services in a timely manner, ensuring compliance and the correct operation of building assets.
  • Tempus manages and works closely with Head Office to provide cost savings across their estate, consolidating supply chains and negotiating costs at new/existing branches to ensure value for money and ease of use.
